First Aid

  • The Link will provide first-aid medical facilities for hirers, and guarantees access to the public telephone system for calling assistance during lettings. However The Link does not provide qualified first aid staff or equipment, and hirers should make their own special arrangements in this respect.  If you wish to use a staff member on site as your qualified first aider this must be agreed prior to your letting, and may incur an additional charge.
  • The venue has a first aid kit in the community office as well as an unmanned first aid room both are accessible through venue staff. Users are reminded that they use the facilities at their own risk and that trained 1st aid staff may not be available at all times.
  • In the event that you or one of your members/visitors injures themselves on site please report it to The Link Assistant on duty immediately.
  • We will need to complete an accident record for the The Links files accordingly.
  • We have a Defibrillator installed in Reception on the left as you enter.  The majority of our First Aid qualified staff have been trained on how to use it.  A Defibrillator is a machine used to give an electrical shock to re start a patient’s heart when they are in cardiac arrest. It is easy to use, safe and is used alongside CPR.
