How to Apply

We welcome applications from all students who are seeking high-quality education at post 16.

As a Sixth Form we feel it is important that students should be fully involved in this process, and so the application form is intended for completion by students. However, we fully encourage the support of parents/carers.

Please find below the application form and other relevant information that you may find useful.

Thank you for considering Nailsea Sixth Form.

The deadline for September 2024 has now closed, however we will still consider late applications.

Please email Mr D Truan, Head of Sixth Form, if you are interested in applying.

Nailsea School was re-built in 2009 and the architects worked hard in consultation with staff and students to create a bright, modern centre of learning.

Many of the classrooms and staff bases have glass walls creating a sense of openness and visibility. The design is based on an arc which means navigation around the school is easy, and colour coded areas help identify subject areas.

In addition to traditional classrooms there are also specialised rooms such as our two Science Super-Labs. The Super labs are two double height spaces especially equipped for scientific experiments. Within the Sixth Form we have designated classrooms, two well-resourced study spaces, two bridge areas which are used for both academic study and social activity, and a newly furnished Post 16 Lounge.

Nailsea Sixth Form works in partnership with Priority Football Academy.

As the football industry continues to experience a high rate of growth, the career opportunities within it have never been better for young people. With a focus on education and providing opportunities, Priority Football Academy aims to help students build the experience and qualifications they need to stand out from the competition when starting their career in football.
