A Student-Centred Approach
At Nailsea School, we believe that the best way for us to support our students is to work together with parents, governors, local primary schools, employers and local organisations
From the moment a student and their parents/carers choose Nailsea School we work tirelessly to support the transition to Nailsea. Our transition team provide a series of opportunities for prospective students to visit the school to meet staff and students and gain a taste of secondary life.
Being part of the Nailsea School Team
Nailsea School is a vibrant, happy and forward looking environment in which to work.
Achieving outstanding student progress is at the heart of everything we do, and every member of staff, teaching and non teaching, has a vital role in delivering this core purpose.
The importance of each and every role at Nailsea School is such that you will find this an environment in which you will be challenged but will always be valued.
Mentoring and support, allied with outstanding CPD opportunities, allow our staff to continually develop and achieve career progression.
Parents/carers can also become part of the Nailsea School team in a variety of ways, whether this be as a governor or member of the PTA or simply to attend our parent forums to discuss any aspect of the school. To find out more about the Nailsea School PTA, you can join their Facebook Group by following this link.
