About Us Headteacher’s Welcome
Welcome to Nailsea School and Sixth Form
As the proud Head teacher of our fantastic school, I am very pleased you have decided to visit our website and find out more about Nailsea School and Sixth Form, a school with a big heart where staff and students strive to be the best version of themselves.
Nailsea is an inclusive school community, driven by an underlying ethos captured in three simple words: ‘Aspire -Believe – Succeed’. We care not only about the academic development of our students but also their emotional and personal development. We recognise that every student has their own individual strengths, gifts and talents and our aim is to ensure these are all developed to their full potential. Everyday we encourage all staff and students to strive for their personal best.
Every decision is always made in the best interests of students to improve outcomes – both academically and pastorally. We challenge students to aspire to do their very best and that hard work is recognised through our rewards system. Our students feel confident and secure at school supported by our strong House system and we take great pride in the close links we have with families. We are dedicated to providing the best opportunities for our students, inside and outside of the classroom, and our staff work tirelessly to provide a broad, varied and exciting curriculum that challenges and inspires our students to be the best they can be. Our aim is that students leave us with the skills and attributes to contribute positively to the demands of modern society and to succeed in their chosen paths.
Our school has made huge strides over the last 5 years but we are a school with even bigger ambitions. Students and staff are very proud of our school and its achievements and we would encourage you to visit so you can experience things for yourself.
Please contact reception o 01275 852251 to arrange a time that is convenient for you.
We believe that Nailsea School and Sixth Form is an exciting place to be. We look forward to meeting you.
