Customer Feedback

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you as a venue for hosting The Rock Project, which is now in its 7th Year in this area and going from strength to strength. We have been at the same venues for each of our Schools since started, and this is down to the continued support we receive from you, and for this I thank you.

Andy – The Rock Project

Just a quick note to thank you for all the arrangements you made on our behalf over the weekend. We were delighted with the show and all the exhibitors and visitors are always very impressed with the school facilities – it is an excellent venue for our show. Georgina and Eve were, as always, very helpful and everything worked very well for us.

Martyn – Nalisea & District Horticultural Society

We were very pleased with the event so thank you for helping us with it.

Marjorie Sharp (Christians together in Nailsea)

Thank you all three for your very important contributions and exemplary good will at different stages of the process in making our concert on Saturday a success. From the very start I was bombarding you with questions and clarifications and every time you were able to respond most helpfully (rather than screaming at me to leave you alone!). The music went well – no ‘blow-ups or breakdowns’ at least! – and the audience was most appreciative of all the arrangements, as indeed I am for your part in them.

Antony (Nailsea Choral Society)

Yes indeed everything did go very well. We had more exhibitors and more entries than last year; more visitors through the door; and all of the arrangements for the show went very well. We were delighted that Chris Wade came and spent some time with us – he seemed to enjoy himself and says he is looking forward to the summer show! Having had this spring show in this same accommodation for a number of years we are quite familiar with the spacing and table requirements so that aspect presents no difficulties now.

Martyn (Nailsea Flower Show)

I wanted to thank you for the support you gave for our booking in the School sports hall on Friday evening. The event went smoothly and we had everything we needed to make it a great success. The help with the chairs and tables was appreciated, and we found the hall in excellent condition – really important since we train bare foot! I hope that you found the hall in a similar condition after we’d finished. So thanks for being easy to deal with and accommodating.

Tim (Nailsea Karate)

Everything went very well for us on Friday/Saturday. I think everything went just about as planned and Caroline dealt very efficiently with any issues (even high tech problems like operation of the light switches!). She was brilliant. Mr Wade seemed to enjoy himself. We really value his involvement – the flower show is a community event and his association with it helps us and, I hope, emphasises the school’s place as part of the community. Many thanks again for all your help – we are already booked in for next year’s shows but we won’t be thinking about those for a little while yet!

Martyn (Nailsea Flower Show)

I am sure you will be pleased to know that our AGM went very well, and that the computer and projector worked fine.  Many thanks to you and your staff, particularly Corina, who went through everything carefully with me the week before.  It makes a big difference being able to display the pictures clearly on the wall so that everyone can easily see.  Our special guest speakers were extremely impressed the facilities at The Link.

Gordon (Nailsea and District Footpath Group AGM)

Just to say thank you so much for making our visit to the school so successful and seamless.  You really have a very efficient team, and our CEO remarked on the excellent standard of the IT equipment.

Cynthia (BIFF SW regional forum 14 June)

May I start by saying how very much we appreciated your involvement in the process of booking our event, the enthusiasm you showed in helping us generate more interest from the school, your attention to detail in ensuring we had the facilities we needed, and the fact that you were so helpful during our evening set-up, and on the day itself. I hope the school (and The Link) know how lucky they are to have you because it certainly made our job so much easier than on some occasions in the past. Please also pass on our sincere thanks to Caroline Pring, who was as usual extremely efficient on Festival day.

Nailsea Festival of Music – 23 November 2013

Thanks you so much for your hospitality. The organisation provided from your school was great, and it was especially good that the schools felt they could ring you directly, such as Grove ringing re coaches. I feel that the Nailsea Primary Schools really appreciate the chance to come to your school as it really helps to strengthen ties between the schools, and also gets the children to go inside their local secondary school, which must be an asset to all. Thank for all the assistance and the IT set up help on the day. Things worked very smoothly and the workshops were a great success. The standard of singing in North Somerset really does benefit from these types of events, and I am sure that also feeds into the attitude towards singing of your own students.

Caro Barrett (Deputy Music Service Manager)

Particularly felt the caretaker, at the end, was gracious and helpful. Georgina was very responsive to our emails and helpful in showing us around and arranging a discussion with the school ‘techie’. There were a few issues with the PA system, but we got it all working. From my point of view Georgina was very helpful.  She showed myself and Pauline round on a visit.  I was able to take a lot of the things for breakfast on the Friday which was so helpful, including using a huge fridge – I would never have got everything in my fridge at home.  The extra things I asked for (jugs, water boiler, trolleys) were already waiting for us on the Sunday. It was great to have the kitchen to use – the only difficulty was that it was so far away, but we coped. I hope they were happy with how we left everything – a few of us worked very hard at the end to make sure it was all cleared up.

Sarah – Holy Trinity Church

On behalf of the team at Young Enterprise, can I say a huge ‘Thank You’ for hosting the event at Nailsea School – everyone was really pleased how it all went and the use of the space in the school was perfect. Can I also ask you to pass on to the catering staff how good the buffet was – really fantastic, especially the homemade crisps and nachos – recipe please!!!! Many thanks again Georgina for all your help on making the event so enjoyable for the teams, judges and our Board.
