Students : Extended Schools
Many activities take place during the lunch period and after school. Students are encouraged to join clubs such as: chess, basketball, choral and music groups. The Physical Education Department together with other staff organise teams in football, hockey, rugby, netball, cricket, rounders and athletics in all year groups. The Languages Faculty organises visits to foreign countries to enhance work done in curricular time. All students have the opportunity of joining our annual Ski Trip abroad.

Orca Kids Club provides professional child care for Nailsea children aged between 4 and 14 after school and during the school holidays. The club is hosted by Nailsea School although run independently. The management team are all qualified teachers and parents. More information can be found at www.orcakidsclub.com.
Curriculum Enrichment Week takes place during July each year. All students in Years 7, 8 and 9, who are not involved in any of the residential experiences, will take part in a week’s programme of activities.
The Breakfast Club operates in the Chill cafe from 7.30am each school day. Students are able to purchase various items for breakfast as well as juice and milk. There is also an internet cafe available for online surfing. |
