- 3-4 minute close-mic multi-track recording
- sequenced backing track of a song in any style
- a studio recording using the sequenced backing track
Composing with technology:
- Students produce
- free composition using music technology
- a second composition based on a brief set by Edexcel
Written Work
- Interpreting data, analysing and discriminating, controlling and editing data
- Music in context – written paper based on recorded extracts of music
