Welcome to the Art department at Nailsea School. Art is taught across all the key stages, our aim being to develop the personal visual language, creativity and independent thinking of all our students.

At GCSE we offer two endorsements, Fine Art & 3D Art

At A’Level we offer Fine Art & Photography

Art and Design options are great companion courses for practically any area of study, whether students are concentrating on the arts, a technical subject or science - encouraging creativity is always beneficial. Many students go on to take higher education courses in art and design, then aim to join the world of advertising, graphic communication, painting, sculpting, photography, architecture, textile design, set design, fashion design, illustration & typography to name just a few.
