Key Stage 4
Students opting to study GCSE Geography at Nailsea School will study OCR /
WJEC syllabus B (Avery Hill). There are four units of study for this course;
- Climate,
the Environment and People;
- People and Place;
- Water, Landforms and People;
- People, Work and Development
Assessment for GCSE is by two formal examinations,
and two pieces of coursework, one of which is based on fieldwork. Coursework
is worth 25% of GCSE.
