Students : Examinations

Exam Information:

Please note:

• Where there are two exams at the same time the shorter one will take place first followed by the longer one.  If both are the same length they will be sat in paper number order.

• Students with clashes of papers will need to arrange to sit the papers ON THE SAME DAY.  Only if the total time of papers exceeds 5.5 hours can they be carried over to the next day.  In these circumstances students will be supervised between papers.

• Morning papers will start by 9.00am and afternoon by 2.00pm.  Students are requested to be at the correct location at least 15 minutes before the start of any exam.

• If unable to attend the exam on the grounds of ill health a doctor's note will be required.  The boards will be notified of late arrival at the exam room and it is their decision to accept the paper or not.

• Any adverse conditions which may affect performance need to be notified to Mr Sleigh WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE AFFECTED UNIT.  Such requests cannot be made after the end of the exam period and especially after the results are published.
