Specialist Status Initiatives - Primary Partner Enterprise.

Our partner primary schools are having great success with their Techlink project. Teachers are enabling the young students to use Cad Cam applications to produce a wide range of professional artefacts.  Enterprise clubs are achieving good quality manufactured articles to raise funds for their schools.  Traditional lessons have been improved in the production of attractive items such as the mirrors pictured below.

Each student has made the wooden frame to hold the mirror.  This is then personalised with the application of cut-out vinyl.  It’s simple, but very effective.  It’s also a good way to show use of new technology in the manufacture of the decoration.

The Techlink project, supported by our Specialist Status sponsors, Hebron Medlock Holdings Ltd., and Denford Ltd, has provided teachers and students the opportunity to develop their technological skills in a fun way.
