“We are delighted with these results. They reflect just how hard students and staff have worked to ensure that together they have achieved excellent outcomes. The standard of teaching and learning in our Sixth Form is truly impressive. I’d like to publicly thank all involved. Sixth Form study is a young person’s passport to the next stage of their lives: we wish all of our Year 13 leavers well as they progress to university, college, apprenticeships or employment

Jon Reddiford, Head of Sixth Form was also delighted with the results, saying –

‘We are a smaller than average sixth form where teachers know students really well, meaning they get the individual support they need to be successful.” He added “71% of our Sixth Form students have made successful applications to universities across the country and these results will ensure they are all able to take up these places. In addition a number of students have accepted both degree led and vocational apprenticeships, including locally at GE Oil and Gas. It is a great finale for a fantastic year group’
