Parents : Prospective Parents : Induction

In the summer term, members of staff visit feeder schools in the area and talk to the primary teachers about the Year 6 children who will shortly be moving up to Nailsea School.

The information gained from these visits are put together with information from the induction form (which includes friendship preferences) and from this equally balanced Tutor Groups are formed.  Tutor Groups aim to have a mix of ability, gender, special needs, primary schools, etc.

Induction Day - Tuesday 8th July 2008

This was an opportunity for the current Year 6 to learn what Tutor Groups they will be in, learn who else is in the group, and who their new Tutor will be.  During the day students took part in 5 lessons designed to give them a taste of the School and its timetable.
