Duke of Edinburgh Awards- Gold D of E Awarded at Palace Three ex-Nailsea School students who achieved their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Awards in 2016-17 were invited to St James’s Palace, London to receive their awards on the 19th March. First Aid – Volunteers- Students First Aid Success Ten students from Nailsea School have successfully taken part in an Emergency First Aid at Work training course.  The Sixth Form students, learnt how to deal with an emergency situation and what the role of a First Aider was. Author Holds Writing Workshop- Year 8 students had the chance to take part in a workshop with author Fiona Hamilton in October. Year 8 Cook Up a Storm- Year 8 students took part in a record-breaking live cooking lesson from Jamie Oliver on 16 May.
