Community : Nailsea Community Showcase

The 6th Nailsea Community Showcase was held in the town's precinct on Saturday 30th September 2006.  Organised by Nailsea School in partnership with Nailsea Town Council this annual event highlights the work of voluntary organisations in the Nailsea district and shows the variety of activities on offer in Nailsea and its surroundings.

Over 35 community and voluntary organisations set up their stalls and performing outside of the main marquee were talented students from Jennie Nelms School of Dancing and the Hats and Boots Line Dancing Team.  The Army Cadet Force set up camp and introduced themselves to local young people with a military cooking demonstration.

The commitment from those present was of the highest standard and showed that Nailsea can be proud of those who volunteer to run such a wide range of activities for the public.
