Backwell School

Nailsea School Media Department have fostered links with Backwell School and collaborations regularly take place which enable the teachers and students to share good practice.

Our Media Teaching Assistant regularly visits Backwell School to assist their Media Department with movie making including filming, editing, production, lighting and audio techniques and this year was the ideal opportunity for sixth formers from Backwell as they were able to receive training in the Regional Training Centre based at Nailsea School.

Backwell Junior School

Our Media Department has been supporting the teachers at Backwell Junior School.  Y5 children have been learning animation techniques and have had the opportunity to use Nailsea School resources and staff to help create some really excellent films.
